Shots are becoming harder to control.
As strings lose tension and resilience, the response can become less predictable, making it harder to judge depth and direction with your normal swing.

You’re not getting the same bite on the ball.
As strings wear and notch, they may stop moving and snapping back as freely, which can reduce the spin and shape you normally get.

The stringbed feels dead, harsh or disconnected.
